Mark Klopp

Course Director - CVC Investment Programs

Mark Klopp is an independent consultant, board member, advisor and investor specializing in corporate venturing and strategic partnering. Focused on best practices in corporate venturing, Mark currently advises Bidra Innovation Ventures and GC Ventures. He is a Fellow with the Bell Mason Group and an advisor to Larta and Tech Futures Group. Mark is also an active angel investor, board member, and advisor to several startups and Christian organizations.

Mark is a former Board Member of the National Venture Capital Association and founding Chairman of its Corporate Venture Group. He previously served as Managing Director of Coronis Medical Ventures and founded and led Eastman Ventures, Eastman Chemical Company’s corporate venture capital arm, building a top-quartile investment program spanning information technology, life sciences, advanced materials, and clean technology. Earlier in his career, Mark held senior international business leadership roles at Eastman, including Assistant to the CEO and Chairman and Regional Business Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Management from Roosevelt University.
